@frankiegalindo9809 months agoI’d take Pirates of the Caribbean over any other movie based on a Disney theme park attraction. 17

@fakhrirhizadi55859 months agoLove the movie, seen it twice in theatres, the horror with a touch of kid friendly sense of adventure is what gets me. I want more movies with this kind of tone. Combine horror with other mainstream genre. Also, the message regarding grief is both subtle and profound. ...5
@
@gcolbyp9 months agoWell know your love for SpongeBob clips, I’m surprised you didn’t do the “GHOST! GHOST! Toast…” clip 😂 10
@
@omnitrix19929 months agoYou should rewatch the original. The scene where Eddie Murphy goes into the tomb to find the key is hilarious. 4
@
@chelsey10879 months agoI liked this movie. The way the movie dealt with grief was very emotional so I cried a few times. And I really liked the comedy in it, it was really funny. So not a bad movie for me and in my opinion I’d give it like a 7.8/10 or even an 8/10 ...2

@fewcusi8 months agoI loved this movie. Will be picking it up when it comes out on Bluray. 1
@
@bronsonwrightwolfe9 months agoI have an interesting fact that kind of ties in with Eddie Murphy's role in the 2003 movie. In Delirious, Eddie Murphy talks about how black people would never be seen in a haunted house movie because they would leave if anything supernatural occurs. That is one of his stand up routines. ...1

@ien20239 months agoFor someone that rode the ride more than 3 times unlike Austin, I felt like a kid again. There's a lot of easter eggs not just from Cali Disneyland but also Disney World. 2
@
@marvelboi34167 months agoI see why they had Owen Wilson in this film. It's because he was in the 1999 film The Haunting with Liam Neeson and Catherine Zeta-Jones.

@80sKidfromthe90s9 months agoI love the SpongeBob references😂. Great review Austin. Have an excellent day. 3

@MoviesAtTheBar9 months agoI'm a 40's year old film reviewing junkie and I can't wait to see the Haunted Mansion, for just 2 hours of fun spooky scares and enjoy that stunning big budget production design. I enjoyed the original too. Austin I actually enjoyed the trailer too, though you're not the first to say they didn't feel inspired by it, so what for you did the trailer drop the ball on? With the two adult scenes of naughty nookie adult Time in Oppenheimer, I hope the "family" doesn't go and see it. ...1

@jacobfleming39269 months agoI kind of want to see this movie for Danny DeVito alone 4
@
@jacobfleming39269 months agoI think this movie came out in July just so there is a four month the gap so then they can advertise it on Disney+ for Halloween. I genuinely think that Disney knew that it wasn’t going to be a big hit. And made it for Disney+. But just thought: “oh what the hell were released in theaters” ...5

@randomreviews42789 months ago forgot Tomorrowland was a thing. I watched it but don't remember anything about it besides George cloney 3
@
@josephcurtisyt9 months agoMy review 5/10 as well. Not terrible just sadly soooooo mediocre. Loved what they were going for when it comes to the theme of “grief” but the script overshadows it with all of its cringey moments. 7

@milestrombley14669 months agoThe Hollywood Tower of Terror should get a remake. 3

@prathapkutty74079 months agoI mean was anybody excited for this movie? Judging by the trailer, it looks like a movie made for Disney plus. 2
@
@claiminghawk9 months agoOk so This is how I rate movies if I go to sleep or check my phone(since I am nureodiverant) I' would put it in the decent at the best type of movie if it does the opposite for me and I can watch it all the way through then it's a great film that knows how to keep the attention of a viewer and not bore the viewer it gets to point. ...

@thejerseygirl979 months agoDid anyone else feel as if the Hatbox Ghost’s original mansion looked like WDW’s Haunted Mansion, and the main mansion looked like DL’s? 1
@
@mark2graves-movies6899 months agoWe took our 13 year old to this and he said he thought it was going to give him nightmares for the first 3rd of the movie, but by the end of had lightened up and he was fine. I think of anybidy brings kids to this movie who are under the age of 10, they will be terrified. If they are 15 and up, they might be bored. This movie has a very specific audience of families with kids from 11-14 years old. That's going to hurt the box office. Which is sad, because we enjoyed it a lot. ...4

@judeadriyanfernando55659 months agoI think people should try mission impossible dead reckoning instead.
@
@puspavelai83539 months agoMay be, it's for people like me who has not been to New Orleans...that the 'tour'( or movie!) was "over 2 hours long?" 😊Similar to "The Miracle Club" storywise, not much, but it was the "popular French Town?" Just a thought😉 ...
@
@GareBare909 months agoPoor Haunted Mansion. Should've been playing October, not July. Disney's marketing threw this one away like trash. 1
@
@yanderefangirl83179 months agoI find it funny that people are tired of movies being available on Streaming first…but it’s the complete opposite with this movie. Also, I don’t consider this a remake of the Eddie Murphy version, because it’s an original story that takes place in a setting from the original ride. The ride was first, the Eddie Murphy movie was second, then other parodies based off of the ride, and then this version came last. ...

@paradisecity0406able9 months agoIs it better or worse than the Eddie Murphy version?

@logainz87129 months agoAre you gonna watch the new Zoey 102 movie? 😂
@
@Anthonycheesman339 months agoHell the Eddie Murphy one wasn’t even that good . Disney got lucky one time with making a movie about a ride 20 years ago let it go Disney lol.but at least they waited 20 years to remake this movie .also I’m talking about country bear not pirates lol ...
@
@matejmatthewbures63009 months agoI’m only going to watch it because of Lakeith Stanfiend, Danny DeVito, Owen Wilson and some of the other cast members. I haven’t even seen the OG movie… 2
@
@Tillyard869 months agoHow is gods name is this movie bland. Also how is it too long? It’s Bailey two hours! Too boring maybe is the better adjective to use there. I find it funny you bring up Oppenheimer right after that, which is three hours long! ...
