The absolute hypocrisy of those who claim to believe in God. I don't know how much she did to combat her aggressors but I hope the trauma she had gone through as a child from Christians did not sway her towards looking at God in the same manner. She said the nuns there were nice and they got her a guitar to encourage her musical talents. What she didn’t like was that when a girl there misbehaved they had to sleep in the adjoining nursing home, where she would hear the old people yelling and moaning, and that frightened her. I can see where that would be psychologically disturbing for a teenager. But she has said she was not physically or sexually abused at the school ...

She was abuse at home & sent to Catholic boarding school. Where her emotional and physical abuse only got worse. She never recovered from her up bringing.
