[WoF & OC] I remade some old MAP parts [2019 - 2021]

So this is what I’ve actually been working on since I finished my 2k special. I decided to remake some of my old MAP parts as most of these are close to being finished. 6 remade MAP parts for 4 different MAP’s. All of these parts are for my MAP’s (which are currently closed). The timing of the scenes in the old and new ones is a bit off because I couldn’t find what the original timing was. Also they aren’t all in the order that I remade them: I decided to put the WoF ones together first even though the Whiteout parts were the last ones I remade. I thought it would be nice to include the old and new parts separately and then together side by side ^^ It’s funny how you don’t really notice the improvement you’ve made until you go back and look at your older work. It’s always great to look back and see how far you’ve come; you can see such a huge difference in your work in even just a year! _____________________________________________________________________ [WoF] Sweet But Psycho MAP: /watch/c3YjHVXhPMChj Original part: /watch/48qAoZuV2tpVA Song: Sweet But Psycho by Ava Max Characters: Peril, IceWing prisoner, Queen Scarlet. So the only thing that I actually changed in this one was the background. I actually still quite like the original animation itself and just didn’t have the motivation to redo the whole thing. The scene is Peril fighting a random IceWing in Scarlet’s arena. _____________________________________________________________________ [WoF] Whiteout Hurts Like Hell MAP: /watch/gdHMeUfiNMwiM Original parts: /watch/wQj7-rJxlhqx7 /watch/U8BtaCUZh1KZt Song: Hurts Like Hell by Tommee Profitt (feat. Fleurie) Characters: Whiteout, Foeslayer, Queen Diamond, Arctic, Fathom, Darkstalker, Clearsight. My editing and shading have improved a lot since I made the originals. I’m especially pleased about the remade scene with Whiteout’s jaw extending. Pause at random points in part 27 when Whiteout shakes her head to see some funky smear frames! The funny thing is I almost didn’t redo part 27 because I remembered it looking better. I decided to just remake the first scene with Arctic and compared it with the original and then thought “woah, yeah I’d better carry on with this,” because wow did this look much better. The scenes are Foeslayer taking off her enchanted earring and getting captured by Queen Diamond while Whiteout watches in horror, and Darkstalker enchanting Arctic to remove his spell on Whiteout. _____________________________________________________________________ Wildcard OC MAP: /watch/wzDPj__KRl3KP Original part: /watch/s0=t&4gnFTxWml0fmt Song: Wildcard by KSHMR. Characters: Dawn, Moonseeker. Fun fact! This was actually the very first time I drew/used my WoF OCs Dawn and Moonseeker. Ironically I finished the remade part exactly a year later. So this is them meeting for the first time at Jade Mountain Academy. I’ve put them both in the Gold Winglet during the current events of the books: Moonseeker is the replacement for Bigtail and Dawn is the replacement for Onyx. Fun fact! The original 2 parts were my very first attempts at tweening, back when I had absolutely no idea what I was doing! I’ve come a long way since then ^^ Why is Emerald sad? No particular reason: sometimes life gets you down and it can take time to pull yourself back together, but sometimes the smallest things can help cheer you up. Most of you probably know the story of Frost and Flame but here are the basics for anyone who doesn’t. When Flame was a kid he got possessed by an evil spirit which turns him into a dark version of himself called ‘Inferno’ against his will, when he’s scared or angry. Inferno is a monster who likes to injure and kill others, while Flame is a gentle soul and would never want to harm anyone. Frost and Flame are in love but Flame is always constantly terrified that he will hurt her. But no matter what happens Frost is always there to support him and never blames him for what Inferno does.
