Sausage and White Bean Soup with Kale and Basil Pesto

Chef Scott Samuel adds some pizzazz to the ground pork by adding traditional Andouille flavors: paprika, cayenne, thyme and sage. He suggests swapping spinach for kale in case it is not available.
