Daal baati is an Indian Dish of dal (lentils) and baati (hard wheat rolls). It is popular in Maharashtra's Khandesh and Vidarbha region, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Utaar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh (especially in Braj, Nimar and Malwa regions).

Ingredients for daal ---
Five types of daal - Toor, Moong, Dhuli udad, Masoor, Moong
Turmeric/ Haldi
Lal Mirch/ Red chilli
Ginger
Garlic
Onion
Green Chillies
Tomatoes
Salt to taste
Ghee
Hing/ Asafoetida
Long, Black pepper
Ingredients for Baati---
Atta / Whole wheat flour- 1.5 cups
Suji / Semolina - 1/2 cup
Oil-- 2 table spoon
Baking Powder- 1/4 tea spoon
Water for dough
Salt to taste
I have made baati many times in OTG, in case you don't have an OTG you can also bake it in tandoor or cooker.
