But they can take rice once a week. - If we are talking about vegetables, patients with kidney disease should take bottle gourd, round gourd, ridge gourd, pointed gourd, ripe papaya, pumpkin, and onion. -You can take an apple, guava, berries, pineapple, and pear in fruits. - Kidney patients can take only 100 grams of fruits. - In dairy products, they can have double-toned milk and have some paneer and egg white once a week. - Other than the above food items, they can include porridge, wheat sewaii, poha & suji/rawa.
