About 10 years ago I built the Scenic Ridge train layout by Woodland Scenics and made some adjustments to the layout for expansion purposes and this video explains what I did. I used atlas track and was built using DC wiring. Now I'm converting it to DCC to run the trains and the switches will be analog since the layout is compact. The purpose of this video is to inspire people who want to get into model railroading. Its a heck of a lot of fun and is the best hobby to get into and let your imagination go crazy! Please be advised that since this video was taken changes to the layout, type of dcc, (I have NCE now) and original expansion plan may have been changed. the track is Atlas code 80.
