The 2022 Chevrolet TrailBlazer has now been reincarnated as a global crossover, from the brutish 2017 Chevrolet Trailblazer SUV. Following in the global trend toward crossovers, the 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer has softened up to a city-bound crossover instead of an off-road ready SUV. In this Filipino car review, we take a tour of the 2022 Chevy Trailblazer and see what sort of features it has. The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer is made in GM Korea, and not sourced from China. The 2022 Chevrolet Trailblazer has the Subaru Forester and the Honda CRV in its sights, since this is a compact crossover. The 2021 Chevy Trailblazer has class-leading safety features, but lacks a bit in the cabin materials and tech department. The 2022 Ford Territory may be a natural rival to the 2022 Chevy Trail blazer, but the Territory is sourced from China while the 2021 Chevy Trailblazer is made in Korea. This explains the features gap, because of the lower taxes for vehicles from China. The 2022 Chevy Trailblazer also matches up to the Kia Seltos and the Hyundai Tucson. #Chevy #Trailblazer #Chevrolet

@corolla95453 years ago I was rather shocked of the Trailblazer being a crossover now rather than a SUV but well another great dose of car review sir Rey! Thank you so much 15

@braderlouie10813 years ago Great review and the first to feature this vehicle, hope to see your driving impressions soon 👍 7

@krislethjavier13613 years ago I’ve had good expectations about this vehicle at the start, since it’s being marketed as a global version, however, it started to dwindle down as he talked about the features (or lack thereof) and its inability to serve the needs of drivers/passengers in a tropical country. I agree with one of the comments here—you might be better off with some China-made cars, with better amenities and car features at a lower price point. ... 26

@alfonsomartinez79193 years ago clearly, chevy does not want to sell cars by volume anymore. haha. unfortunately for them, buyers are more discerning nowadays 10

@teamw32272 years ago Great video as always, Reygan! Please review as well the Chevrolet Spark. 🍺
  • @
@cyng24303 years ago This is not US spec. There's no Premier in the US while the LT FWD there only has a 1.2 turbo. Also has no amber sidemarkers. The ones we get here are same spec as the LT and Premier sold in Korea 8
  • @
@ErnestMarvinEsteban3 years ago it looks okay. But it doesn't really stand-out when compared to all the crossovers in the ph market. And no 360 view camera and rear ac vents? Ang layo ng difference sa features when compared to territory. 5
  • @
@thetrustysidekick30133 years ago Jesus, I just checked the price of this in the US, it's almost $6000 cheaper over there. 5

@dennisfamaran86593 years ago Sir here in the middle east RS is available, sana dumating din dyan yong RS variant 4wd yon ganda..

@markjavier81573 years ago As a former owner of a Chevy vehicle (albeit, 2nd hand), I am excited with this new Trailblazer crossover 😊
However, I still have questions about current Chevy vehicles' reliability and longevity. Hope this good-looking crossover will prove me wrong.
PS. I will still miss the Trailblazer SUV and Colorado pickup..

@reyki42b303 years ago 1.3L? Priced at 1.6Mio? Chevrolet didn't do their homework as usual. 5
  • @
@edwin_ac3 years ago On your in-depth review, please elaborate more on its turbo lag. I'm assuming it will have a turbo lag.
  • @
@rjfitnesstv47133 years ago Great review, watching this will make me appreciate more to the Chinese rivals like Geely Coolray. 10
  • @
@lyrad45843 years ago Wow heated seats for all passengers!!! as if the hellish mid day heat of the philippines isnt enough 31
  • @
@khaledtamano55583 years ago Chevrolet Philippines doesn't seem to sell this Trailblazer in a proper competitive Way. It's so pricey that you can never think twice of buying another brand like Ford territory Geely OkaVango, Toyota Corolla Cross, Honda CR-V or it's Own partner MG RX5. A BIG MISTAKE by its distributor. ... 4

@nobodybuttrue90613 years ago Lack of driver and passenger's ammenities nga pero bawi naman sa overall safety features😇😉 safety first😉😇

@plaggomg22yt3 years ago From midsized suv to crossover now :(
But what is the new midsized suv

  • @
@gerrybonono66723 years ago Big Plus sana kung AWD na yung Top Variant. More Reasonable for the Price. Heated Seats instead of Cooling Seats? Sablay.. 3
  • @
@saintsantiesteban30703 years ago This is way so much better than the territory at 155hp with an 1.3 engine. Idk and not so sure, but if you only stressed more on the engine specs, fuel consumption, terrain applications, safety features, etc rather than the "U.S. specs" thing and aesthetics, maybe youd sell a bit more. Good review though. Kudos. Just try to speak a little slower next time too. ...
  • @
@gregmatol5193 years ago Will there still be a Trailblazer SUV? Or they'll be settling with that new crossover?
  • @
@paoo33533 years ago IMO Chevy should’ve kept the ladder on frame based TB and make an all new model. That engine is so good. Well nagsara na kasi SEA factory nila but I think they can outsource naman from China if they’re having problems where to outsource it. And tbh I’m not sure if this will sell here. ... 5

@thaniamarieibanez8513 years ago Good review. Pero TH lang masyado at medyo awkward lang yong gestures ni Rey.
  • @
@patriciaporter10733 years ago I would love to buy that Trailblazer I've been looking for one nobody had one I loved it ever since I saw it and I can't pay no more then 22004 yet I'm on a budget can't afford before 420 a month
  • @
@boinik883 years ago actually that is not the question on my mind sir, it's this: will this replace the midsize suv that we previously had? 1
  • @
@lexurious22273 years ago Demand for the Chevy Trailblazer is Off the Scale. Chevy is struggling with supply issues and can’t seem to keep up with the massive demand (read Carbuzz News). Good Job on this model Chevy!
  • @
@betaraybill35483 years ago What's the difference between this and the Tracker? I prefer the SUV Trailblazer better with it's higher ground clearance. Di na ba binabaha ang Pinas? 2
  • @
@juliogorio96833 years ago I have seen this suv already fpr quite sometime, in the US they call this Chevy Blazer of I am not mistaken.
  • @
@juansipag22063 years ago Nice review, now I prefer Ford Territory than this one. 8
  • @
@charlestan71633 years ago For sure iphaphase out nila ito pag di bumenta. Dami na naging models ng chevy na after few years discontinued na dito sa atin.
  • @
@YuriusFarrence3 years ago pretty lack luster compared to the crowded space of the subcombact crossovers. Ang lamang lang nito = pogi exterior 5
  • @
@cedricvillanueva79853 years ago Good day sir, can you feature a Jeep Compass
  • @
@jonazgarchitorenatv17543 years ago i wonder, mga sobrang unit na nmn kaya to from North America/Canada kaya dinala na naman nila dito sa asia/pinas? 2
  • @
@thetrustysidekick30133 years ago The price is a big ask for a vehicle with not that many features compared to the competition.
I was worried they'd do another Trax style stunt, and they did.
Poor Chevrolet, my dad would hate to see them go down like this.

@junrivera21303 years ago The new Trailblazer is comparable to Geely Azkarra in size and price. Its selling point I think is the eye-catching looks and a known american badge. 3
  • @
@jambee13473 years ago Guys I've got question tho, Since the new global version of trailblazer has just come here in the Philippines - does that mean the 2020 and 2021 model of it (still my dream mid size SUV) will not be available anymore in any Chevrolet store here? like would I not get a brand new one na ba? Sayang kasi the asian version of it has still my heart. ...

@MR.OTENTEK3 years ago nowadays chinese car has more features than europian/american cars it seems that china now has a better understanding when it comes to a usefull features 2
  • @
@lawrenceluspo95763 years ago I'm a bit disappointed. I owned a 1990's trailblazer before. I wanted to upgrade to the newer mid sized SUV model but it became a crossover. Oh well, I might just go buy the previous model instead.
  • @
@aliandyan35963 years ago I stopped at 12mins. At P1.6m and lack of features, i rather choose toyota, ford, or geely. 1
  • @
@observer9503 years ago Naahhh for that price. It would be better if it was still the suv version 3
  • @
@cjserrano113 years ago In the US, that originally was not the ‘Trailblazer’ but merely the ‘Blazer’. I think it’s a big mistake for Chevrolet to name that puny thing the ‘trailblazer’ for the “global market”.
The previous gen trailblazers that were manufactured in Thailand gained a massive reputation for being very capable 7-seater 4x4 SUVs that could practically go anywhere. Replacing it with this minuscule 5-seater with an engine that would be put to shame in power by some motorcycle engines and giving it the hallowed name ‘Trailblazer’ is practically a slap on the face of their older clients.

@craig741003 years ago looks like another rebranding or collaboration.. look at Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet (India). The body silhouette with just some tweaks here and there... hint.. made in South Korea... 1

  • @
@kellydysantini64983 years ago The car looks great but lacks features you can get at a lower price point available cars these days. I think it's overpriced. I'd rather go with geely coolray or MG RX5 with panoramic roof or Ford Ecosport titanium.
  • @
@spike2863 years ago Nice car from GM.. but the after service is no good at all especially their casa here in cebu..
  • @
@elishakimadelacruz68583 years ago Lol Chevy Ph being that lazy. Did not add the dual zone climate control yet still added the heated seats. Hayyy di na makapg compete ang chevy 3

@potatodoppelganger3 years ago Why does it need paddle shifters? When it has a cvt? Isn't that like a joke? 1
  • @
@kentstructures43883 years ago Why would they not care changing the name of this car? We all know locally a Trailblazer stands for a big, wide, heavy duty car.. And this? 1

@justinlegend265last year Chevrolet corp Indonesia do all the cars, top of the line manufactured according base the U.S specs not south KOREA 😁
  • @
@aso64373 years ago Chevy isn't known as a luxury vehicle, seems like a normal American car except for the very small engine. Still find this funny as fuel is almost 8 dollars a gallon. There is going to be a small car rush very soon. 1
  • @
@i.g.24163 years ago The trailblazer name seem cannot make up it’s mine on what the hell it is 1

@Caleboosaurus2 years ago Sir hindi ba nagalit sayo mga taga chevy? 🤣
I know na mas ok for us viewers ung ganyan na walang bias and review.. pero sana medyo alalay lang at focus nlng sa magandang features, kasi expect nila dyn is to promote the car since lalo nandyn kayo sa ofis nila kaso mas lumabas sa vid ung negatibo niya. Feeling ko tuloy wala ng part 2 ang vid na to 😅 ...
