@taywoodz2 years ago First thing I said to myself when I read about the shooting was reassurance that Steve Kerr would eventually tonight, at one point, give us a powerful statement on the topic considering he himself has felt that loss.
And my god was this beautiful. Prayers to the families and their loved ones. This has to stop.

@tarjeiengesetofstad57232 years ago To all Americans who opposes gun controll: You should ask yourself why this happens so often in the USA, and more rarely in other Western democracies. The answer is the old fashioned cowboy spirit where having a gun or ten under your pillow, a few in your car and probably also one at your childrens bedroom is considered a human right. Well listen: it is not. In my country, Norway (which millions of Americans origin from) you need do apply to the police first. If you are not juridically fitted for having arms, you shouldn't. Laws are not ment to protect the privileged, they are ment to protect those who need protection. School children by instance. ... 4

@samcharlton17752 years ago As an outsider from the U.K. I find it staggering that guns are so easy to obtain in America with limited checks. Moving words from Steve Kerr who clearly is passionate about the subject, RIP to all the little one’s who lost their lives due to evil. I hope America can make progress and these senseless shootings can become a thing of the past ... 89

@jrsmaster4112 years ago These ghouls in office exist outside of society. As long as they can sleep safely at night knowing they and their families are safe, things will never change. The only legislation they are quick to pass is anything that protects themselves. We need people with a platform like Steve Kerr to call this out. All your favorite are gonna give thoughts and prayers, we need more than that. Cause the rest of us are powerless in this. An overwhelming majority want some form of gun control and we can't even get our elected officials to discuss it. ... 57
