While the cutoff of NEET 2020 scores equivalent to percentile will be announced along with the result. NEET expected cutoff 2020 Aakash, Allen Kota, Resonance and others, has been released for all categories. Check NEET expected 2020 cut off for General/SC/ST/OBC in the article below. NEET cut off 2020 varies for each category. Medicos must secure NEET qualifying marks 2020 percentile and scores to qualify the offline entrance exam. Various coaching institutes have released the expected NEET 2020 cutoff along with the equivalent scores, which can be checked below. NEET MBBS/BDS cutoff 2020 for General category candidates is 50th, while NEET cut off for OBC, SC and ST will be 40th. Aspirants who wish to pursue MBBS / BDS abroad must also pass the exam by securing NEET cut off percentile and scores in order to be deemed eligible. In accordance with previous year NEET statistics, out of 14,10,755 test-takers only 7,97,042 candidates managed to qualify the exam by securing equal to or more than NEET cutoff qualifying percentile. last year, unreserved category aspirants had to secure at least NEET pass mark range of 701-134, in order to get equal to the 50th percentile. According to NEET reservation criteria candidates belonging to reserved categories had to secure marks range of 133-107. NEET 2020 cutoff: tie-breaking process In case, if two or more candidates have secured equal NEET cut off qualifying scores, the authority will use the tie-breaking criteria to prepare NEET merit list 2020 . The below-mentioned steps in order of preference will be followed to break the tie: Higher marks in Biology: Aspirants securing higher scores/percentile in Biology (Botany and Zoology) will be preferred first for merit list. Higher marks in Chemistry: If the tie still exists, then the higher marks/percentile of candidate in Chemistry will be considered. Number of incorrect answers: If the tie is still there, students with less number of incorrect and correct attempted answers will be allotted better rank. Age: At last, the age of candidate will be taken into consideration. Aspirant elder in age will be given higher rank in the merit list. NEET cutoff for admission The cut off of NEET 2020 will be considered for admission to the following UG medical seats: 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats 85% State Quota seats Deemed and Central universities ESIC and AFMS Private institutes How much marks required for NEET for 15% All India Quota seats As mentioned before, for admission to 15% AIQ seats, aspirants must secure NEET 2020 AIQ cutoff as specified by NTA. It must be noted that the AIQ cutoff of NEET 2020 will be the same as the qualifying percentile.
